Tiana’s Palace

As the lead Graphic Designer for the transformation of the former French Market Restaurant into Tiana's Palace, I led the development and implementation of the restaurant’s environmental graphic program, helping translate the story and visual identity of Princess Tiana into a cohesive guest experience.

Working within Walt Disney Imagineering, I collaborated with creative directors, interior designers, producers, and fabrication teams to design a full suite of graphics that supported the narrative of Tiana’s entrepreneurial journey and New Orleans–inspired setting. My work included menu boards, dimensional signage, decorative environmental graphics, architectural typography, and story-driven visual details integrated throughout the dining space.

I developed graphic systems that balanced authenticity, readability, and thematic storytelling, drawing inspiration from historic New Orleans signage, jazz-era typography, and hand-painted culinary graphics. The design approach ensured that all visual elements supported both operational needs and the immersive environment expected within New Orleans Square.

From concept development through production, I produced design packages, presentation materials, and fabrication-ready artwork, working closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure high-quality execution. The final result delivered a layered visual environment that reinforces the story of Tiana’s growing restaurant empire while enhancing the guest dining experience.

The project represents a successful collaboration across disciplines, bringing together storytelling, architecture, and graphic design to create a richly detailed destination within Disneyland.
